Raphaël Vicenzi, aka My Dead Pony, is a self-taught illustrator born in 1972 in the gloomy but friendly region of Charleroi, Belgium. It is only much later in his life that his true passion for illustration surfaced and it has never dimmed since then. His illustrations are a combination of digital media and watercolours which are influenced by his many readings, his interest in human nature and the world around him. His work has been described as fresh, personal, provocative, but is also food for thought.
Raphaëls clients include Graniph, String Republic, Go Media, among others. His works have been published in magazines like Computer Arts, Advanced Photoshop, Rockpile, Idea Design as well as in books such as Illusive 2 and Zeixs illustration.
He currently lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
